A cracked engine bracket, a pinhole in a steel tank, a stripped pipe thread, or a broken cast-iron fixture - the fix used to require a welder, a torch, or a trip to a machine shop. J-B Weld SteelStik delivers near-weld strength from a knead-and-press stick that any DIYer can use.
This is a steel-reinforced epoxy putty engineered specifically for metal substrates - steel, aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass, and many alloys. Cut off a piece, knead it until uniform, press it into the crack, hole, or break, and shape with wet fingers. Sets in five minutes, fully cures in one hour. Cured putty handles tensile strength up to 4000 PSI - tough enough for permanent structural repairs on engines, plumbing, fuel tanks, exhaust pipes, and farm equipment. Drill, tap, sand, or paint after cure. 2oz tube is plenty for many small repairs.
